We invite you to an intensive two-day workshop “One-To-One” led by Slovenian director and performer Eva Nina Lampič – an experimental theatre author and artist who develops hybrid formats between performance, conversation, and debate.
The One-To-One format explores the specifics of a performance encounter one-to-one, between one performer and one audience member. The workshop explores what possibilities this opens up, what possible formats and styles of expression exist, what dynamics of the relationship between the audience and the performer are possible, and what this format can offer that other performance forms cannot.In this weekend workshop, we will collectively explore ways to approach this performance form through various artistic styles and approaches. What makes the “one-to-one” format special? What are its limits, and what are its hidden possibilities? This format allows for an intensity and focus that is rarely achieved in conventional theatre conditions, the responsibility and presence of the performers, and a performance as a personal event rather than a spectacle.
The workshop is intended for young directors, authors, performers, final- year students of art academies, and young professionals in the field of performing and visual arts (theatre, dance, performance, circus, visual arts, music). At the end of the workshop, short performances (5–10 minutes) are created in a “one-to-one” format.

The working language of the workshop is English, with the possibility of translation into Croatian/Slovenian.
The workshop will take place on Saturday the 21st and Sunday the 22nd March 2026 at the House of Klajn (Antuna Augustinčića 1, Klanjec,
Croatia).

Attending the workshop is free of charge, and the organiser provides accommodation, meals, and travel expenses for all of the attendees.
House of Klajn is an artistic residency and a inclusive space for staying, creation, and performance. The workshop is being conducted as part of the project “PRODUCING ONE-TO-ONE ART EVENTS AND SHARING THE EXPERIENCES (ONE-TO-ONE ART)” co-funded by Creative Europe, the Office for Associations of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia (Creative Europe Desk), and the Kultura nova Foundation.
