it?

Chosen Parts 1
Chosen parts 1 is a piece which offers a possibility to play with being looked at as well as power
relations, while celebrating our bodies in the aesthetics of sharp spotlight and strong shadows. It
happens in the safety and excitement of darkness with a caressing touch of soft light.
FLESH SKETCHES
(with Elie Halonen)
FLESH SKETCHES is a performance that invites the experiencer to the world of shibari tying,
contemporary dance and sculpture. The sculptor picks shapes from the dancer’s movement tying them
momentarily. In this way, sculptural sketches are formed from the dancer’s body. This piece is an
opportunity to explore limitations, freedom, power and interaction both between performers and in the trio
formed by the performers and the experiencer.
Radical Love Analysis
What do love and loving actually mean? Radical Love Analysis offers an opportunity to delve deeper into
that theme and verbalize one’s own thoughts in a safer space, completely confidentially. Both the
performer and the experiencer participate in the analysis.
The suggestion is to speak as honestly as possible, in accordance with the principle of Radical Honesty.

Chosen parts 1 on valon hyväilevää kosketusta, pimeyden mystisyyttä ja turvaa, kehon ja liikkeen
juhlintaa. Se on mahdollisuus leikkiä katseen kohteena olemisen, vallan ja katsomisen teemoilla tarkan
kohdevalon ja jyrkkien varjojen estetiikassa.
FLESH SKETCHES
(Elie Halosen kanssa)
FLESH SKETCHES on teos, joka kutsuu kokijan shibarisidonnan, nykytanssin ja kuvanveiston
maailmaan. Kuvataiteilija poimii tanssijan liikkeestä muotoja sitoen niitä hetkellisesti. Näin tanssijan
kehosta muodostuu veistosluonnoksia. Sidonta antaa mahdollisuuden tutkia rajoitteita, vapautta, valtaa
ja vuorovaikutusta sekä esiintyjien välillä että esiintyjien ja kokijan muodostamassa kolmikossa.
Radikaali Rakkausanalyysi
Mitä rakkaus ja rakastaminen oikeastaan tarkoittavat?
Radikaali Rakkausanalyysi tarjoaa mahdollisuuden syventyä asiaan ja sanallistaa omia ajatuksia kahden
kesken turvallisemmassa tilassa, täysin luottamuksellisesti.
Sekä esiintyjä että kokija osallistuvat analyysiin. Ehdotus on puhua mahdollisimman rehellisesti Radikaali
Rehellisyys -toimintaperiaatteen mukaisesti.

In one-to-one art, it is important to me to put emphasis on a safer space and consent, and to tell the
experiencer that they can quit the performance any time without reasoning. I feel that this makes it easier
for the experiencer to dive deeper into the world of the art work.

Kahdenkeskisessä taiteessa minulle on tärkeää turvallisemman tilan ja suostumuksen huomiointi, sekä
se, että kokija voi keskeyttää teoksen milloin tahansa ilman perusteluja. Koen, että näiden asioiden
huomiointi auttaa kokijaa antautumaan teoksen maailmalle.
